Lexington Open Studios 2010 Welcomes Your Support
You can support Lexington Open Studios (LOS) by volunteering your time, knowledge, space, and talent:
• Offer to address and mail publicity postcards.
• Offer space for an artist to exhibit during the Open Studios event.
• Offer to place posters in store windows and public spaces.
• Solicit contributions from individuals and local businesses interested in the arts.
• Suggest other ways you can help.
You can show your support for this important Lexington cultural event by becoming a sponsor. LOS brings hundreds of people to Lexington as they visit individual and group studios. While raising community awareness of Lexington art and artists, it helps to invigorate the local economy. Your contribution, large or small, is more appreciated than ever as public-sector support for the arts continues to diminish. All contributions are tax deductible, and help fund event publicity and printing expenses.
Lexington Open Studios is partially funded by the Lexington Council for the Arts (LCA) through grant programs from the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC). Participating artists contribute to funding of the event through registration fees.
